If you’re anything like me, you’ll go in and out of your bullshit until you finally conquer it.
Here’s a bombshell (and you need to take my word for it): It’s not bad for you to go into your bullshit. It’s not something you should beat yourself over. It’s really okay. What you should not do is to stay stuck in your bullshit for so long.
How can you get over your bullshit? Here are some of the things I talk about in today’s episode:
Don’t compare yourself with someone else. (Big ‘DUH’ but it’s worth reminding yourself about it over and over)
Celebrate yourself (Always and everyday)
Be genuinely proud of yourself and don’t be afraid to voice it out.
Validate yourself (Don’t expect it from anyone else)
Focus on your accomplishments (not your problems. You don’t need any of that)
Appreciate yourself (Because you are awesome and you deserve it more than anyone else)
Compliment yourself (And do it often. You’re a badass.)

Let’s do a quick recap.
In Part 1 I shared the plain truth about the rate at which I created content for my business.
To be honest, it makes me cringe when I think about it.
I went from being consistently visible and building a pretty good fan base for someone just starting off. From there my content took a nosedive.
I went from creating content and showing up everyday to creating sporadic bursts of content or nothing at all.
Despite it all, I learned a couple of things along the way and in Part 1 I shared why it is important to create content consistently.
In Part 2, I spoke about what exactly consistency meant and I went into detail there.

Why I Stopped Creating Content
Last year was a crazy year for me and it seriously affected the rate at which I put content out there and showed up in my business. I had to grapple with school, family, my personal problems and work at the same time.
When I was done with everything relating to school, I broke down and took 4 months off to find out what the hell happened and put my shit together.
Part 1 was a touchy article for me. I broke open and shared my lapses in the rate at which I create content for myself.
I was a complete mess. I went from being super enthusiastic about creating content and showing up like crazy to disappearing for weeks…and then months.
The only time I showed up was when I was so sad and when I was in the mood of showing up.
I remember when I just started my business, I showed up everyday – even on weekends.
As at that time Facebook was my jam. I would share valuable content in 5-8 groups 3 times a day! Not to talk of comment on other people’s posts and make new friends.
It was crazy. And after a couple of weeks, I burnt out. So I downsized the number of times I showed up on Facebook everyday. I went from posting in about 8 groups to 5 groups to 3 groups and then to just 1 group.
I did a lot of testing back then and I learned a lot and made quality relationships. It was an adventure.
I remember scrolling through my Instagram feeds and stumbling on one of Gary Vaynerchuk’s videos. A lady walked up to his car and asked him what can help her get motivated. In the most matter of fact way Gary said “You’re gonna die.”
Those 3 words didn’t just shock the lady, it shocked me too.
